Experience Never Goes Out of Style
I've been a graphic designer since 1987.
In that time I've seen plenty of "revolutions." When the Macintosh arrived, many predicted the end of graphic design. It didn't happen. The computer became another tool.
Today, AI is the latest tool.
These days it's tempting to believe that effective marketing is just a matter of typing a few clever words into a prompt and waiting for brilliance to appear.
If only it were that easy.
If great branding could be generated in seconds, every business would be unforgettable, every website would be successful, and every logo would be a masterpiece.
We know that's not how it works.
Good design starts with understanding your business, your customers, and what makes you different. It involves asking questions, solving problems, and developing ideas that communicate the right message to the right audience.
There are no shortcuts to effective marketing communication.
After nearly four decades in the industry, I've learned that the real value isn't the software, the computer, or the latest technology.
It's experience.
The tools will continue to change.
Experience never goes out of style.
